CLEAR STORAGE
IN
LINUX SERVER

Abstract technical background

Yesterday I experienced a case where when I cannot run a Java application on a Linux server because the storage was full. Then how do you check which files are filling up? How do you clear up the storage? Just don't ask me. Everyone in this world is confused (Aldi Taher's words)

How to do?

First, clone this repo Storagetoolkit

Then go in folder cd storagetoolkit

Add executable rule to file topdiskconsumer

sudo chmod a+x topdiskconsumer

Then, copy topdiskconsumer to folder /usr/bin so that it can be executed from anywhere.

sudo cp topdiskconsumer /usr/bin -v

Run it

sudo topdiskconsumer

Console clear space

We can scan to find any file that is large in size. Delete unused files to clear space.
